The Nautilus

Patek Philippe created the Nautilus collection of men’s watches with the goal of making a masculine watch that had a strong frame but remained true to the elegance of the Patek brand. The original design was inspired by portholes from maritime ships and even the newest timepieces retain this character. The Mens Nautilus (Ref. 5712)

The Ref. 5712 utilizes a caliber 240 PS movement that employs the timepiece’s numerous complications. This men’s watch features complications such as moon phases, a seconds dial, power reserve indicator and a date hand on the dial. The porthole inspiration can be seen in the watch’s 40mm case– looking at the dial through the case is like looking through a porthole on a ship.

The Nautilus Annual Calendar (Ref. 5726)

The Ref. 5726 is powered by Patek Philippe’s own Caliber 324 S QU LU 24H self-winding movement which employs the watch’s incredible functions. This Nautilus features numerous complications including a triple date (day, date, month), moon phase indicator, 24-hour dial, and an annual calendar. The porthole inspiration can be seen in the watch’s 40mm case– looking at the dial through the case is like looking through a porthole on a ship.
