Ovale Pantographe (PFC775)
Parmigiani Fleurier's Ovale Pantographe combines charming aesthetics with technical innovation to create a striking timepiece. Creating an oval shaped timepiece while maintaining a masculine presence was no easy feat since curved pieces are traditionally thought to be feminine; however, Parmigiani rose to the occasion with this collection.
The Ovale Pantographe utilizes a newly designed movement, the PF111, which is based on the PF110, the oldest movement created by Parmigiani Fleurier. The manual movement is combined with a pantograph complication enabling a unique feature: telescoping hands. The hour and minute hands follow the contour of the oval case, extending or contracting as needed to create a perfect ellipse. A silver barley grain dial is home to a date aperture in the six o’clock position and a power reserve indicator at twelve o’clock.
