Wild About Children 2015
We had a wonderful time at Wild About Children tonight! We are proud to support this incredible event for such an amazing cause, Children’s Hospitals & Clinics of Minnesota. Hosted at the gorgeous A’BULAE in St. Paul’s historic Lowertown neighborhood, the evening began with wine and hors d’oeuvres as guests mingled with players. The full roster of Minnesota Wild players served as celebrity waiters, trading in their jerseys for aprons to host and serve a delicious meal to over 400 guests.
We donated a Panerai Luminor timepiece and packaged it with some great extras for the live auction. Our friend Mikko Koivu was wearing the watch during the event and it was auctioned directly off of his wrist! After the heated bidding process concluded, the lucky winner went home with an incredible watch, a signed Wild jersey, and the Wild About Children apron right off of Mikko’s back.
This year’s Wild About Children event raised nearly $300,000, setting a new fundraising record! In its 12-year history, the Wild About Children gala has raised more than $1 million to benefit Children’s of Minnesota. The Cancer Kids Fund provides extra services and amenities that bring additional care and comfort to kids and families in the midst of a cancer or blood disorder journey.
