The Tonda Tourbillon Woodstock

Parmigiani Fleurier is known for pushing the boundaries of modern watchmaking and creating some amazing timepieces, and they’ve done it again! The Tonda Tourbillon Woodstock was born by fusing old and new. Drawing upon the ancient process of marquetry—cutting and assembling wooden veneers—Parmigiani created a watch with the spirit of music and pays homage to the roots of American Rock n Roll. Over 50 small pieces of wood were cut, dyed and assembled to create the American Flag marquetry dial in the shape of a guitar. Powered by a Parmigiani-built PF510 movement, the Tonda Woodstock houses one of the most desired complications in watchmaking, a tourbillon, in the center of the guitar.
