The master jewelers of Jaeger-LeCoultre shine with rare talents for various gem-setting techniques that require extreme attention to detail and a remarkable degree of patience. No matter the type of setting, the goal remains the same—to best accentuate the brightness and purity of the gemstones. The prong setting itself takes their master craftsmen hours upon hours to cut, set and place diamonds one by one to bring out their full radiance and shine.
The precious outer bezel showcases a flawless trail of 108 diamonds huddled close together through its striking prong setting technique. Ethereal and subtle, another row of 47 smaller diamonds is nestled away gently inside the dial, with the lugs also set with 12 more diamonds. A single inverted diamond adorns the crown for the perfect finishing touch of refinement. The radiance of 168 diamonds is a wonder to behold and its effect is only further enhanced by the brilliance of the iridescent surface of its mother-of-pearl dial. With an automatic movement nestled in a generous 36mm case, the Dazzling Rendez-Vous Night & Day is available in either white or pink gold and styled with alligator leather straps in shades of blue or taupe.

Combining gold, mother-of-pearl and diamonds with uncompromising attention to detail, the Night & Day function is as balanced as ever. The day/night indicator moves across the starry mother-of-pearl sky within an aperture at six-o’clock. Between the perfectly-measured pace of the automatic movement and the stunning precision of the poetic Night & Day function, the diamonds and mother-of-pearl dial stand out with infinite grace.
