The Radiomir 1940 Chronograph Oro Rosso (PAM519)
Introduced at SIHH 2014, the Radiomir 1940 Chronograph Oro Rosso is a historical timepiece with an incredible design. At 45mm, the oversized red gold Radiomir 1940 case is bold and has the same simplistic lines that Officine Panerai developed in the 1940s. Protected inside the case is a OP XXV calibre which was built on a Minerva 13-22 base, making this not only a historical movement, but one that is highly sought after. The movement has been referred to as one of the most beautifully decorated movements in Panerai’s rich history.
The PAM519 features a new dial design that was inspired by the brand’s history and the function of the chronograph. The brown California dial is also adorned with its chronograph counters—a seconds subdial in the nine o’clock position and a minute counter at three o’clock.
The Radiomir 1940 Chronograph is also available in two other versions:
PAM518 Platino: Platinum case, ivory dial, brown leather strap
PAM519 Oro Bianco: White gold case, black sandwich dial, black leather strap
