1978 Rolex Sea-Dweller “Double Red”

This is a very cool, rare, and collectible vintage Rolex. The “Double Red” Sea-Dweller was a watch that was specifically designed for a very narrow market- professional saturation divers. This example, dating to 1978, is among the last of the Double-Reds, featuring a stunning original MkIV dial with outstanding patina. The original hands have aged lighter than the dial, and the case appears to have been lightly polished but is thick and retains the original factory bevels. Not only that, but the watch also includes the original box and certificate! A real rarity, and a true collector’s piece.
