1984 Rolex Sea-Dweller “Triple Six” [Sold]

The Rolex Sea-Dweller Ref. 16660 represented a substantial upgrade over the outgoing model. This updated model featured double the depth rating (up to 4,000 feet), an improved helium escape valve, and a more durable and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The lack of a “cyclops” lens over the date function is also an appreciated feature by some. This example dates to 1984 and features a lovely dial, handset and bezel pearl with matching custard patina. The previously polished case is in excellent condition and the “J” code 93160 bracelet is also in excellent condition. The watch also includes a Rolex service pouch and RSC Certificate dated August of 2019. Sorry, no box or original papers.
