Omega Speedmaster Professional “Tintin” (311.30.42.30.01.004)

Originally conceived as a celebration of Tintin, this Omega Speedmaster was to have the red and white checkerboard pattern and a small rocket ship on the dial. Unfortunately, the collaboration fell apart, but Omega decided to carry forward with the design, marketing the watch as a Speedmaster “Racing” model, and without the telltale rocket ship. While this was unknown at first, the reveal of the plan by Omega instantly increased the collectability of the model! This example is in excellent pre-owned condition and includes its original boxes, manual, pictograms card and open warranty.
