Christie’s Auction – June 2012

Christie’s of New York, hosted their sale of Important Jewels on June 12 and Diamond’s were the big attraction! The top lot of the auction was a 22.46-carat rectangular-cut E color diamond ring (left photo below) by David Webb, which sold for $1.9 million to an anonymous bidder. If a 22.46 carat diamond ring is a bit too much for you, check out our 5.07carat emerald cut diamond ring (right photo below). This piece has a fancy cut diamond on each side and the band is accented with bezel set round brilliant cut diamonds, item #013944.

A 14.82-carat pear-shaped E color diamond (left photo below) realized $1.6 million, or $107,500 per carat. We suggest our stunning 3.40 carat pear-shaped diamond ring (right photo below).
