1981 Rolex GMT-Master “Root Beer” [Sold]

We love to see a classic “Root Beer” GMT, and this is a great example! Dating to 1981, this Ref. 16753 is considered a “transitional” model, retaining the acrylic crystal and “nipple” dial, but upgrading the movement to include a quick-set date. We did perform a full movement service on this watch but chose not to refinish the case or replace the bezel to retain the original patina as much as possible. The watch also includes its original box (missing its insert).
