1999 Rolex Explorer II “Swiss Only” [Sold]

During the transition period between Tritium and Super-Luminova as their lume material, Rolex produced a very short run of Luminova dials around 1998-1999. These dials can be identified by their marking of “SWISS”, as opposed to “SWISS MADE” or “SWISS – t < 25” – hence the nickname, “Swiss Only”. Due to their short production, these dials are more rare and collectible than their older or newer cousins! Dating to 1999, this black dial Explorer II is in excellent pre-owned condition and includes its original boxes, manuals and certificate.
