This 2000 Submariner Ref. 14060M features a rugged and comfortable 40mm case, and might be the perfect everyday companion. The watch is in excellent pre-owned condition and includes its original boxes, manuals, anchor and certificate.
As the most famous dive watch ever created, the Rolex Submariner has achieved iconic status in the world of watches. These “no-date” Submariners are a favorite amongst collectors because the absence of the date window gives them a clean, symmetrical design.
This Ref. 14060M sits at the crossroads of vintage and modern; it offers the vintage appeal of the original models with the added benefit of modern upgrades. It’s fitted with a sapphire crystal and a Triplock crown which together produce a water resistance rating of 300 meters.
The “M” in the reference number stands for “modified”, as it featured several upgrades over the 14060, most notably an upgraded movement—the Caliber 3130. Collectors gravitate towards these models because even with the upgraded movement, they still retained the two-line dial text. The 14060M still featured the drilled lugs that collectors crave and it was the last Rolex model with an aluminum bezel insert.
