1954 Patek Philippe Calatrava [Sold]
Considered by many collectors as the finest time-only watch that Patek Philippe has ever produced, the Ref. 2526J is a very special timepiece. The 36mm 18k yellow gold case houses the first self-winding movement developed and released by Patek Philippe – the Ref. 12-600AT. It was also a serially-produced Calatrava with a twice-baked enamel dial, something that cannot be claimed even today. The depth and color of the enamel has to be fully appreciated in person! This piece, dating to 1954 as confirmed by an Extract from the Archives, was just fully serviced and restored by Patek Philippe and is in excellent vintage condition. A truly exceptional piece for a discerning collector!
