1967 Rolex Submariner “Meters First” [Sold]

This is a seldom-seen Rolex Ref. 5512 Submariner dating to 1967. Offered at the time as an upgrade, this watch has a higher-grade movement that was Chronometer Certified. Not only is the watch itself a rarity compared to its brother the 5513, but this example includes its original boxes, guarantee booklet dated 1969, and Chronometer certificate. The case, bracelet and “Meters-first” dial are in excellent vintage condition. The Oyster Rivet bracelet is stamped “74” and the hands have been color matched to the dial.
