Parmigiani Fleurier was founded in 1996 by Michel Parmigiani, an intensely skilled watchmaker who was a virtuoso in the restoration of vintage luxury timepieces and automatons. By industry standards, Parmigiani is a relatively young brand, but they have quickly established themselves in the world of luxury watches with their masterful timepieces. Parmigiani Fleurier has created some amazing collections of watches for men and women, perfect for the casual watch wearer to a horological purist. Their relentless pursuit of quality brought the brand to center stage of the luxury watch industry in the brand’s short history.
Mechanical Perfection
With their unique culture of restoration, Parmigiani Fleurier vowed to uphold the highest levels of quality and watchmaking expertise. Not only did they envision developing in-house movements, but they also wanted to ensure that each component was crafted with the same level of quality and craftsmanship. Today, Parmigiani operates five manufacturers with some of the best production facilities in Switzerland. This enables Parmigiani Fleurier to monitor its entire production process, from the very smallest components right through to their final assembly to create the finished watch. Thanks to this unique structure, in just over 20 years Parmigiani Fleurier has launched six collections and developed thirty-three calibres in-house, including four world firsts.
