“On August 27, I brought my RADO watch in to have a new battery installed. First, I had never been to your beautiful store, second, I had called to check to be sure you were an authorized RADO service jeweler. My husband & I drove out to your store and I was immediately greeted by a very lovely, friendly, and welcoming Kim Swanson. She made me feel as if I was a valued customer in spite of the fact that all I was there for was a new battery and perhaps a nice clean-up of my RADO. She stated it would be only about a 10-minite wait, so I went to the car and told my husband he was welcome to come in. Besides, we were offered coffee & cookies, which Bob would never turn down!:-) Kim then came over, chatted with us, and showed us a beautiful new piece they were featuring. She was so professional about it….no pressure, just a lovely way to enlighten us to a beautiful necklace.

“I made my first purchase for myself at Wixon Jewelers just prior to Christmas last year. Over the years, I have shopped at many other stores throughout the Twin Cities Metro area, all over the country and the world. I’ve never really had a go to jeweler that I considered of any merit. After many years of hearing all the radio ads on WCCO, I figured it was finally time to give Wixon’s a try. Since then, I have made many subsequent purchases for myself and my wife. We have finally found a reputable and trustworthy Jeweler that we can call home.
Why have I kept coming back? This is best summarized by the high level of class, pressure free professionalism, and wonderful customer service I have received. The knowledge and education of the sales professionals are second to none. I have primarily dealt with Troy and at times in his absense, the other associates were able to step in and make my experience seamless. All of the ‘Sales Professionals’ are just that, extremely professional as they work together as a team. They don’t work on individual commission and you can feel that as a customer. It’s so refreshing to see this kind of work environment in action! It’s no wonder this store in Bloomington has been around forever.
I have also been enamored with their service/repair department. Recently I had some older watches that needed some repair. In the past I had taken my watches to a prominent store in downtown Minneapolis. What would take them weeks to repair only took Wixon a matter of days and cost 1/4 of what I used to pay. With one older timepiece, I was called four times from Wixon’s to let me know what they were doing and where they were at. They treated my watch, which was not purchased from them, as if it were their own. Impressive and honest integrity!

“I just wanted to drop a note saying how well I was treated today at Wixon Jewelers. I came in to have a watch battery replaced and I was so impressed with your employees. One woman showed me several expensive time pieces while the gentleman behind the counter took care of my watch. My husband and I were looking for a new diamond for our 15th anniversary. We went to 4 places, Wixon Jewelers, JB Hudson’s, RF Moellers, and Continental. All 4 names we got from friends. We started at JB Hudson’s because it was right downtown. The store was nice, but the sales people were not friendly or helpful. Next was R.F. Moellers, the man we worked with was very aggressive, just too full of himself. Continental…I’m not sure why they were suggested, they just didn’t carry the higher quality we were looking for. Finally Wixon’s, What a wonderful place! We felt comfortable, they had lots of diamonds to show us. (We were looking at 3 carats) We worked with Jessica. She was very knowledgeable and very passionate about where she worked! We found the perfect ring and one of their goldsmiths, I think his name was Barry, offered some suggestions on setting the diamond. Jessica introduced my husband and I to the owner, Hope Wixon. She gave us some great advice on diamonds and even some great travel tips! We picked up my new ring a few hours later, after Barry did his magic. We felt great about our purchase and really good about doing business at Wixon’s. I will save my friends from 3 other stops, and send them only to Wixon Jewelers! I love my ring!

I have been a patron of many jewelry stores over the years, but for the past five or six years Wixon Jewelers on 98 and Lyndale has been my hands down favorite. Their service department is second to none, and their selection is outstanding. While most stores will show you catalogs with pictures of wristwatches they can “order” for you, Wixon is not afraid to have many models in stock. So you can see the real item before buying. Plus they are discerning buyers with great taste and are in tune with the latest and most desirable designs.Plus they are discrete. You will not see one boring piece in the store. Whether you’re interested in an outstanding wristwatch are many other striking pieces( for the ladies) Wixon Jewelers is your one stop shop.

I stopped in for a new battery in my watch and to get my diamond ring polished and inspected. Upon entering I was greeted and offered coffee, cookies and chocolates! Wixon Jewelers got my diamond ring business because they were honest, knowledgeable, and nice people. I made several trips to their store, and each time they were gracious and helpful. I even brought another diamond from another store to make comparisons. I thought they would trash the other diamond because it wasn’t theirs, but they pointed out the positives and the negatives, and asked me questions to figure out which features might be most important to me. I would I like to share my story, about how Wixon Jewelers helped me with an unfortunate situation. I inherited by mother’s platinum, comfort fit wedding band, which she had purchased from Wixon 14 years ago. Needing to have it resized, I took it to a “competitor” jeweler that was closer to home. Upon picking up Mom’s ring, I was very disappointed in the work they performed. Not only was the ring still the wrong size, the comfort-fit style was altered due to the stretching process the jeweler used. If I had been informed that this would be the process used vs. cutting the ring and adding more platinum, I wouldn’t have left it there. There is no replacement value for sentiment. I then brought the ring to Wixon, and even though they did not do the resizing work on the ring, they reassured me that they would help me to make my ring look beautiful. They stood by that promise. They re-polished (left unfinished by the other jeweler) and appraised the ring, all at no cost to me. The ring even came back to me in a new ring box and gift bag. Now, instead of wearing a ring that I felt sad and angry about, I’m wearing Mom’s beautiful ring proudly, knowing that there were people who cared about my feelings and wanted me to come away with a positive experience. I can’t say enough about the professional way Wixon stood behind their product and their genuine customer satisfaction service. Thank you, Wixon.
